The Institute currently consists of 17 research groups. All faculty in the Institute have their primary appointments in one of the University's departments. The Institute will ultimately include 24 faculty, half of whom will be new recruits to the University. The Institute gathers a broad spectrum of expertise with graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty drawn from Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics & Cell Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Physics.
